Professional Curriculum on Herbs and Dietary Supplements
Classes Offered
There are 7 1-hour credit classes in two tracks;
you may select to participate in any combination of these classes.
Track 1 focuses on the clinician's knowledge and
confidence about HDS while Track 2 is designed to enhance the clinician's
ability to discuss HDS safety and effectiveness with patients.
After paying the initial enrollment fee, you can
register for any class in the Online Professional Curriculum on Herbs and
Dietary Supplements offered by Northwest AHEC between now and September, 2007!
Track 1 - Knowledge-oriented classes
The purpose of these classes is to improve
clinicians' knowledge and confidence about HDS.

Track 2 - Behavior-oriented & Talking with
Your Patients classes
The purpose of these classes is to enhance
clinicians' ability to ask patients, record information in the medical record,
advise patients about safety and effectiveness and report adverse effects
appropriately.
